Itinerary

Discover Kerala’s lush landscapes and coastal charm as you travel from Kochi to Munnar’s misty plantations, Thekkady’s wildlife reserves and Alleppey’s iconic backwaters. A night aboard a houseboat and serene days in Kovalam complete this soothing tropical odyssey.
Day 1: Arrival in Cochin
Arrival at Cochin airport.
Our representative will meet you and transfer to hotel in Cochin.
Evening: Witness Kathakali classical dance performance at a local theatre (from 1730 hrs to 1930 hrs). The striking feature of this dance form is the elaborate face make up and costumes.
Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel Avenue Regent or similar – Cochin.
Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel.
Visit Mattanchery Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue (closed on Friday, Saturday & Jewish holidays), St. Francis Churh (Closed on Sunday during mass) and Fort Cochin area.
Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities.
Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel The Avenue Regent or similar – Cochin.

Check-out from hotel in Cochin and drive to Munnar.
Check-in at hotel in Munnar. Afternoon Eravikulam National Park, Tea Gardens, Mattupetty Dam & Kundale Lake.
Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel Abad Copper Castle or similar – Munnar.

Check-out from hotel in Munnar and drive to Thekkady.
Check-in at hotel in Thekkady. Later visit Periyar National Park – A real paradise of elephants and a tour of Spice plantation- where you will be enticed by not only the aroma of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg but will also get to know how they are grown, harvested and processed
Evening witness a Kalaripayatu Performance at a local theatre.
Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel Abad Green Forest or similar – Thekkady.

Check-out from hotel in Thekkady and drive to Alleppey. Upon arrival Alleppey jetty embarks the houseboat.
While cruising, you will observe & experience the villagers’ lifestyle. Sail through the exotic backwaters on the traditional rice boats to view the exotic backwaters and scenic beauty of Kerala.
Lunch & dinner on board houseboat.
Overnight stay on board Houseboat – Alleppey.

Disembark the Houseboat at Alleppey Jetty and drive to Kovalam.
Check-in at hotel in Kovalam. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities (No vehicle at disposal)

Excursion to Kanyakumari, visit Kumari Amman Temple, Triveni Sangam & Rock Memorial. Later drive back to Kovalam en-route visiting the Padmanabhapuram Palace (closed on Monday).

In time transfer to Trivandrum Airport to board flight for your onward journey.

Tour Details

  • 07 Nights accommodation on twin / double sharing basis.
  • Accommodation will be on Bed + Breakfast basis at all the hotels except on board houseboat where it will be on “Room + all meals” basis.
  • Meals will be in the coffee shop of the hotels.
  • All transfers, sightseeing tours and excursions as mentioned in the itinerary will be provided by an air-conditioned vehicle.
  • All road taxes, parking fees, fuel charges, and interstate taxes.
  • English-speaking representative at arrival/departure airport transfers in Kochi & Trivandrum.
  • GST 5%.
  • Any Airfare.
  • Visa fees (for international tourists) & Insurance fees.
  • Expense of personal nature like tipping, laundry, and telephone / fax calls, alcoholic, beverages, camera / video camera fee at monuments, medical expenses, airport departure tax etc.
  • Melas ordered in the room.
  • Meals other than those specified in the itinerary.
  • Monument entrance fees to all the monuments listed in the above itinerary (Approx. monument entrance fee: ₹ 4500 per person & child below 7 years are free)
  • Services of English-speaking guides during sightseeing.
  • Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal. Therefore, No transport on the days of Leisure.
  • Any other services not mentioned under ‘Your package includes.

Meals:

  • All breakfasts are included from the start to the end of your tour as outlined in the itinerary.
  • For lunches, we prefer to take you to authentic and high-quality local restaurants where you can pay directly for your meal.
  • Meals are generally served in restaurants, though packed meals may be provided occasionally for convenience.
  • At religious sites, only vegetarian meals will be offered. At other locations, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options will be available.

Travel Requirements:

  • All guests must adhere to travel requirements such as RT-PCR tests, vaccination certificates, web check-in, and other formalities as mandated by the state or country. Any associated costs are the responsibility of the guests.

Airline Information:

  • For our group tours, Immersive Trips selects the most accommodating airlines for smooth travel.
  • Group tours are booked in economy class. If you prefer Premium Economy, Business Class, or First Class, we can arrange this for an additional fee, subject to availability.
  • Refreshments and meals are provided according to the airline’s policy. We recommend bringing some dry snacks for added comfort.

Transport Details:

  • We use small cars, Tempo Travellers, or coaches for transfers, sightseeing, and intercity travel, depending on the group size.
  • In coaches, seats 1 & 2 are reserved for the Immersive Tour Manager and Guides.
  • Small cars typically accommodate 4-6 guests, with seating assigned on a rotating basis.
  • Private vehicles or upgrades can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Sightseeing & Experiences:

  • Attractions may occasionally be closed without prior notice due to current conditions. If access is restricted, we will try to visit alternative sites or provide a refund for entry fees where possible.
  • Hotel Information: We choose comfortable 3-star hotels with positive guest feedback. You are welcome to review these hotels before confirming your tour.
