Itinerary

This spiritual journey traces sacred coastal pilgrimages from Kolkata to Gangasagar and onward to Odisha’s revered temple circuit. Enjoy darshan at iconic shrines, explore ancient architecture, cruise the scenic waters of Chilika, and experience cultural heritage woven with deep devotion.
Day 1: Arrive Kolkata
Arrival at Kolkata airport. Our representative will meet you as you exit the arrival building, after which you will be transferred to your hotel in Kolkata. Check-in to your pre booked hotel. Refresh and relax in the comforts of your hotel for some time.
Later proceed for a city tour visiting Dalhousie Square (Covering Raj Bhavan, St. John’s church, High Court, GPO, Town Hall, Writer’s Building and other important colonial buildings), Flower Market, Howrah Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral Church, Indian Museum (Closed on Mondays & National holidays), Victoria Memorial (Closed on Mondays & National holidays) and Kalighat Kali Temple.
Overnight stay at Hotel Check In Check Out or similar – Kolkata.
Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel.
Check-out from hotel in Kolkata and proceed for an overnight trip to Ganga sagar, A visit to Ganga Sagar involves surface journey and boat ride. You must leave after an early breakfast and drive to Kakdwip (Lot No. 08) which is approximately 105 kms / 3 hrs from Kolkata. Board the local shared GOVT. ferry which will take you on the other side of the river called Kachuberia. After a sail of 30 – 40mins you reach Kachuberia. Upon arrival Kachuberia drive of another 40mins will take you to Ganga Sagar. Check-in to your pre booked hotel. Refresh and relax in the comforts of your hotel for some time.
Later explore the Kapileshwar Muni Ashram- One punya Tirtha among five punya dhams and Kali temple.
Evening free on the beach to enjoy the sunset.
Overnight stay at Gangasagar Tourist lodge or similar – Gangasagar.

Morning takes a holy dip in Gangasagar.
Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel and proceed for Kolkata. While coming back you have to follow the reverse routing. Upon arrival Kakdwip (Lot No. 08) , you will be transferred to Howard railway station to board over night train to Puri.
Overnight stay on board the train.

Arrival at Puri Railway Station. Our representative will meet you as you exit the arrival building, after which you will be transferred to your hotel in Puri. Check-in to your pre booked hotel. Refresh and relax in the comforts of your hotel for some time.
Later trip to Konark on the way visiting Ramachandi Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach & World-Famous Sun temple. On the way back to Puri visit Sand Art Museum.
Evening free on the Golden Beach Puri.
Overnight stay at hotel Nayak Beach Resort or similar – Puri.

Early morning Darshan at Shree Jagannath Temple.
After Breakfast excursion trip to Satapada on Chilika Lake. Boating on the lake to see the wild Irrawaddy dolphins.
Evening free at newly developed Niladri beach & Blue flag beach.
Overnight stay at hotel Nayak Beach Resort or similar – Puri.

Morning after breakfast check-out & drive to Bhubaneswar on the way visiting Pipili Applique Market, Dhauli Peace Pagoda.
Upon arrival Bhubaneshwar check-in to your pre booked hotel. Refresh and relax in the comforts of your hotel for some time.
Later visit city of temples covering Parshurameswar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani & Lingaraj Temple (Hindu’s are allowed to inside the temple) , Khandagiri and Udaygiri Jain rock cut caves.
Overnight stay at hotel Mango or similar – Bhubaneshwar.

Enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel.
Later in time transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey.

Tour Details

  • 06 Nights accommodation on twin / double sharing basis.
  • Accommodation will be on “Bed + Breakfast + Dinner” basis at all the hotels except in Kolkata where it will be on "Room + Breakfast" basis.
  • Meals will be in the coffee-shop of the hotels.
  • All transfers, sightseeing tours and excursions as mentioned in the itinerary will be provided by an air-conditioned vehicle except from Kachuberia – Ganga Sagar – Kachuberia where it will be by non-air-conditioned vehicle.
  • Train fare for sector Howrah to Puri using A/C 3 Tier sleeper class.
  • All road taxes, parking fee, fuel charges, and interstate taxes.
  • Govt. ferry on sharing basis.
  • English-speaking representative at arrival/departure airport transfers in Kolkata & Bhubaneswar.
  • GST 5%.
  • Airfare.
  • Visa fees (for international tourists) & Insurance fees.
  • Expense of personal nature like tipping, laundry, and telephone / fax calls, alcoholic, beverages, camera / video camera fee at monuments, medical expenses, airport departure tax etc.
  • Breakfast ordered in the room.
  • Meals other than those specified in the itinerary.
  • Boating charges at Satapada on Chilka lake. Charges: ₹ 3400 per boat maximum 06 pax in one boat.
  • Monument entrance fees to all the monuments listed in the above itinerary (Approx. monument entrance fee: ₹ 250 per person & child below 7 years are free)
  • Services of English-speaking guides during sightseeing.
  • Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal. Therefore, No transport on the days of Leisure.
  • Any other services not mentioned under ‘Your package includes.

Meals:

  • All breakfasts are included from the start to the end of your tour as outlined in the itinerary.
  • For lunches, we prefer to take you to authentic and high-quality local restaurants where you can pay directly for your meal.
  • Meals are generally served in restaurants, though packed meals may be provided occasionally for convenience.
  • At religious sites, only vegetarian meals will be offered. At other locations, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options will be available.

Travel Requirements:

  • All guests must adhere to travel requirements such as RT-PCR tests, vaccination certificates, web check-in, and other formalities as mandated by the state or country. Any associated costs are the responsibility of the guests.

Airline Information:

  • For our group tours, Immersive Trips selects the most accommodating airlines for smooth travel.
  • Group tours are booked in economy class. If you prefer Premium Economy, Business Class, or First Class, we can arrange this for an additional fee, subject to availability.
  • Refreshments and meals are provided according to the airline’s policy. We recommend bringing some dry snacks for added comfort.

Transport Details:

  • We use small cars, Tempo Travellers, or coaches for transfers, sightseeing, and intercity travel, depending on the group size.
  • In coaches, seats 1 & 2 are reserved for the Immersive Tour Manager and Guides.
  • Small cars typically accommodate 4-6 guests, with seating assigned on a rotating basis.
  • Private vehicles or upgrades can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Sightseeing & Experiences:

  • Attractions may occasionally be closed without prior notice due to current conditions. If access is restricted, we will try to visit alternative sites or provide a refund for entry fees where possible.
  • Hotel Information: We choose comfortable 3-star hotels with positive guest feedback. You are welcome to review these hotels before confirming your tour.
